A root canal removes the infected nerve and pulp from inside a damaged tooth, cleans the empty canal, and seals it with a biocompatible material. A custom crown placed afterward protects the restored tooth so it can chew normally for the next decade or longer.

A Real Tooth Always Wins Over a Replacement
